[JYO] 125 to 175 foot towers less than 1/2 mile from JYO? SCC Hearing on 9/6/01 7PM

125 to 175 foot towers .46 Nautical Miles East-Southeast of the Leesburg 
Executive airport are proposed.

The SCC will hold two public hearings on the power plant proposal at the 
County Government Center, 1 Harrison St. S.E., in Leesburg, on Thursday, 
September 6. The first will begin at 2 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors 
meeting room. The second hearing will begin at 7 p.m. in the same location. 
Concerned Pilots and citizens might want to attend the meeting to voice their 
concerns against the building of the plant.

AOPA Associate Director of Air Traffic Services has written to the FAA 
regarding the dangerous impact on our airspace if the plant is to be built.
