[juneau-lug] xandros install

Myron or anyone,

Installed Xandros 2.0 - network card not seen.  (same setup works fine 
w/Knoppix 3.3, which is also Debian). 
Do a "insmod ne" and see 5 lines of "unresolved symbol" errors (ie: 
ethdev_init_Rsmp_l8lbald4).
uname tells me: Linux 2.4.22-x1 #1 SMP ...
Did it install a SMP kernel & is that my problem?  cpu is AMD-K6

Any suggestions? TIA
