[juneau-lug] samba 3.2.x in an AD environment with trusts

Anyone on the list using Samba 3.2.x in an active directory domain with trust 
relationships set?

I am having a hard time getting winbind to play nice with my domain.  I set up 
an eval copy of Server 2003 and created a contoso.com domain.  Samba 3.2.x 
works perfectly in the test environment.

In my production environment, winbind hangs for four to five minutes the first 
time it tries any sort of authentication or lookup.

The difference is that contoso.com has no trusts established, while my 
production domain has two incoming trusts from domains in separate forests.

Perhaps one of the State employees has a similar setup?
