sorry about spamming this list again, I seem to be getting really good at
it.    There are a few nodes up for a community wide wireless project and
I'm hoping to get some more up.

So I have the following offer, I'll give away (as supplies last) a Proxim
Harmony 802.11a access point w/ removable antennas and PoE capable (I'll
help you build a adapter if you want one... all you need is a little time
and a soddering iron) to the following people.

If you can put up an access point ssid juneauwireless w/ nocat and hook it
up to another node.  (either via wireless or via vpn to
vpn.juneauwireless.net) I'll give you one of these amazing :) access
points.  (Really actually they are pretty good systems, 200mw and very
very stable, I've been running one for months with no problems!).  They
look like the saucer bowl and I imagine one could mount one directly
outside w/ a little work, some foam, and with the custom built PoE
adapters.  (I've built one it takes about an hour to do, but well worth
it!).

BTW these has a mini-PCI board in it, so if you laptop has one and you
want to salvage it you can pop them out and throw the mini-PCI wireless
card right into your laptop or minature computer.
