[juneau-lug] Welcome

I'm taking a guess that this is the address for the Juneau Linux user Group.

I'm Dan Zachary.  I work with KRSA Radio in Petersburg.  Have had an
interest in linux for some time.  A friend gave me a linux box back in 1998
and I have played a little with it.  Lots of frustration, but I keep
learning.

I do have a coyote Linux box at work which functions as an internet
interface and firewall for the local network.  The windows configuration
program did not create a valid linux disk, so I had to install the real
linux (Red Hat 6.1) on a computer at work, get the Coyote Linux files for
linux and create the boot disks from there.  Quite a learning experience.
Thats been running for a number of months now and is much more satisfactory
than IShare from Artisoft!  Much simpler to use and configure.

I still do a lot of work with DOS machines, so would be interested in
learning about interfacing DOS and LINUX.
