Doh! Sorry Tony, I should have made introductions already.
Tony works at SEARHC in Sitka. He is (please correct me if I'm wrong)
the senior database administrator there and has a lot of hands on Unix
experience in a production environment. Hopefully he'll be able to make
it to a few of our meetings.
Dan - as far as I'm concerned, anything is fair game as long as you can
somehow tie it in to a *nix and/or the hardware it runs on. However
that was just what I came up with for the mailing list. There's been no
formal decision by club members (which includes you) about what is
acceptable and what is not.
