[juneau-lug] Newbee on the block...

Hello everyone.
I am a Newbee with Linux and I reside in Juneau. I installed Linux about 
4months ago and I am still experiencing for now. I will be more feeding 
on you linux wizards more then anything else for now but you got to 
start somewhere...I got by the way a question. I am using Mandrake 8.1 
and I installed it on my Laptop as well.(I just don't seem to be able to 
stay away from it). Anyway, I need to set up for wireless with the 
Laptop and all my research has brought me to dead ends. I found some 
drivers that are suppose to work with my PCMIA 3Com AirConnect Wireless 
Lan but I can't make it work.
Any suggestions. I am  probably just doing something wrong. Have all a
