Your PPro 200 is a 686. The PPro family are the original 686s.
My RH7.2 box is a dual processor PPro 200, and the Micron that FC2 wouldn't
even boot on is a dual PII 300. Should have no problem with a 686 only kernel.
Could be that the installer needs some work, although that is a little
surprising - I would have thought that they would have just recycled the RH9
installer.
Hmm. Maybe I should upgrade to RH9, then FC2...
