No spectacular critters.  We watched a porcupine methodically strip the new 
leaves off the top of a young alder.  A squirrel played hide and seek with my 
daughter for about 10 minutes.  When we were hiking up we were warned about a 
black bear and two cubs, but we never did see them.

No other campers, just the regular joggers, cyclists, and hiking tourists.
