Hi Yamuna and all
According to what my friend said, I think it would be grate if there are
project templates just for mixing audio, not midi, so we just record music,
export as wave, then add it to the track with effect added. That would be
better for people who amature in mixing, or don't have much time to listen and
mix track by track.
Just my imagination

Subject: [jsonar] Re: Sonar templates
Hi,
I have not heard about this, but I would also like to know if someone has
actually set up this sort of sharing.
It will be difficult to share templates like that because not everybody uses
the exact same soft synths and audio effects which do not come installed with
Sonar.
For example I use Hypersonic for a lot of my instruments, almost all of them.
I use Session Drummer 2 which comes with Sonar 8.0 but then 8.5 comes with
Session Drummer 3. So even if I want to share my templates with other users,
you have to have those programs installed otherwise my template will complain
about missing plugins on your system.
But, even if you do have those plugins installed, Sonar is intelligent enough
to set up the parameters of those plugins just as they should be, by somehow
reading this from the template.
So, your EQ and compressors will be set up just right, and your reverbs will
be configured just as the original creator of the template has set it up for
that track or bus. That’s quite nice.
In fact, one time, I set up a friend of mine half way across the world, with
the exact same programs I use, then I shared a CWP file with him and he played
some licks on the piano track and sent it back to me. Quite nice!
The CWP files also keep the plugin settings, just as the Template CWT files
do. The difference is that the CWP files also contain the midi data on the
recorded midi tracks.
Kind regards,
Yamuna

Subject: [jsonar] Sonar templates
To all listers
Via a friend, I heard that we could find sonar templates made by other people
for easier mastering music. Those templates has been added appropriate effect
for spasific kind of music, such as vocal, piano... so do you know any website

Any help would be appreciated.
