[jsonar] Give us your feedback on the JAWS 13 issues with sonar and JSonar

Hi all,

 

Vic and I have been talking about what little things need to be nailed down
with the JSonar scripts before the next official "release" goes live.  One
of the issues that many people seem to be observing is the problem with
editing fields in the track view (such as "Name", "volume", etc.) when using
JAWS 13.  We're trying to find some pattern here to help us nail down the
problem and (hopefully) come up with a fix.  I've also observed similar
problems with arrowing through FX plug-in dialogs when using JAWS 13.  These
issues do not appear to occur with JAWS 12.

 

Also, we're not sure how many people are observing these problems - some
appear to have the problem (like me), and some do not see the problem (like
Vic).  If we could figure out what is different between folks seeing and not
seeing the problem, that would certainly help!

 

Please take a minute to answer the questions below:

 

1.        Are you observing:

a.       Problems when trying to edit and exit the edit dialogs for fields
in the track view?

b.      Problems getting feedback from JAWS when arrowing through dialog
boxes in some or all FX dialogs for presets?

c.       Other?

d.      No problems with the above.

2.       What version of Sonar are you using

3.       Are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit version of Sonar?

4.       Which version of Windows are you using and is it a 32-bit or 64-bit
version?

5.       Which version of JAWS are you using and is it a 32-bit or 64-bit
version?

6.       Do you notice any of the above problems when using JAWS 12?

7.       Are there any other observations you've made that could help us
understand the pervasiveness of the problem or its cause?
