Need extra cash? Want flexible hours, working from home?
I may have an opportunity for you.
Many of you know me from my attendance at JSFG this year. Recently I accepted a
position as a Recruiting Assistant for the U.S. Census Bureau. In that role,
I'm looking for job candidates who would be interested in positions essential
to the planning, organization and conducting of the 2010 Census. Part-time and
full-time temporary positions will begin in early 2009. More jobs will be added
throughout 2009 and 2010.
All positions require passage of a general skills test involving reading, basic
math, organization, alphabetizing, and map reading. I will be giving the test
this week at 2 p.m. Wednesday (12/10) at Workforce One in Clermont County and
at 6 p.m. Wednesday (12/10), 6 p.m. Friday (12/12) and 10 a.m. Saturday (12/13)
at U.C. Clermont College. One caution: I can test only Ohio residents. Kentucky
and Indiana residents must be tested in their home states.
If you have questions, contact me at mycalder2001@xxxxxxxxx or visit the
official Web site: www.2010censusjobs.gov. You also can download a practice
test from the site, so that you can see the types of questions and their format.
I'd appreciate it if you would schedule your test at one of my test sites by
calling the Recruiting Office at 513-766-3040 or 513-766-3041.
In addition, please spread the word to others who might be interested in Census
jobs: retirees looking for extra cash, stay-at-home parents having limited
time, college students wanting to gain practical job skills, anyone looking to
get out and meet people. I appreciate whatever assistance you can provide in
connecting me with job candidates.
Thank you,
Myra Calder
