[jsfg_cinti] follow up from Monday

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for your time and attention Monday as I shared news about job
opportunities with the U.S. Census. As mentioned, I have established testing at
three new locations. Please feel free to share this notice with friends,
associates, church members, etc., etc., as we will be hiring hundreds of people
over the next two years. Feel free to copy and share:

Know anyone who needs extra cash? Wants flexible hours, working from home? The
U.S. Census Bureau is accepting applications for hundreds of temporary
part-time and full-time positions essential to planning, organizing and
conducting of the 2010 Census.
Census positions appeal to all types of people (18 to 80 and older): the
employed who need extra cash, the unemployed who want flexibility around the
job search, the college student who seeks practical job skills, the retired who
stay active and engaged, the stay-at-home parent who balances work/family,
basically anyone who enjoys getting out and meeting people.
In addition to completing an application, all job seekers must take a general
skills test of basic math, alphabetizing, reasoning and map reading. Testing
sessions are set weekly at various sites including: Mondays: Oakley Community
Center, Hyde Park Plaza (near Bigg’s); Tuesdays: Madisonville Community Center,
5320 Stewart Street; and Thursdays: Hyde Park Center for Older Adults, 2800
Erie Avenue (corner of Shaw).
To reserve your seat at a testing site at a location and time convenient for
you, please call 513-766-3040. To download a practice test, complete an
application online, or learn more about the 2010 Census, please visit the Web
site: www.2010censusjobs.gov.

Again, thank you so much for questions, comments and feedback Monday. For those
of you interested in taking the test, the Monday afternoon session could be
ideal. We ask that you arrive at 1:30 p.m. to complete the application and
other forms prior to the 2 p.m. testing. Please reserve your seat.

Thanks again,
Myra Calder, Recruiting Assistant
U.S. Census Bureau, Cincinnati
