MIAMI UNTIVERSITI' POSITION
ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT FOR FINANCE Office of the Vice President for Finance 
and Business Services

This position serves as the second senior administrative official in charge of 
the financial operations of the university. Responsible for the overall 
management and planning of the following departments: Budget Office. Office of 
the Controller. Purchasing and Central Serviceso and the Office of Treasury 
Services. Requires a master's degree in business administration, management, 
public administration, or a related field; at least ten (10) years of 
progressively- responsible experience directly related to business and 
financial management; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and 
written; knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations as well as 
accounting standards and must possess proven analytical and mathematical 
skills. Prefer CPA and experience in a public university or non-profit setting.
