Finding Your Next Job in a Difficult Economy
What: A hands-on workshop for jobseekers committed to doing what it
takes to be successful.
Finding a job in today's economy has never been more difficult. Jobs are
scarce, but the jobs are available if you know how to be a "smart
hunter" and how to position yourself.
When: Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Sign-in: 6:45am. Session: 7:00 am - 11:00
am.

search, and who is interested in a straightforward, business approach to
individualized skills-development and motivation to be successful.

Workshop Facilitators
Dana Glasgo: A consultant to both small business and Fortune 1000
companies for over 15 years. She has worked with numerous community
organizations, including Cincinnati Job Search Focus Group, Northminster
Presbyterian Church Job Search Group, Xavier University and WCPO
Television. Her background includes 11 years as VP, Human Resources &
Marketing, a MBA and BS from the University of Cincinnati and Career
Practitioner Certification from the Institute of Career Certification
International. She is qualified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and holds

Michael James: Over 20 years Fortune 500 marketing and business
development experience and whose recruiting/ hiring background includes
marketing, sales, advertising/media and training/development. He has
trained hundreds of business executives, sales and marketing personnel

job-transition strategies includes social media, productivity
measurement and analysis to determine what works and what doesn't. Mike
is a career transition mentor as well as part of the Xavier University
Executive Mentor program.
