Wholesale Sales Manager
A well established manufacturer and distributor of home products is
seeking a sales manager with a successful track record. The ideal
candidate will have experience in our markets and channels, including
hardware cooperatives, building material distributors and specialty
retailers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate a vision for each channel to grow
sales.
- Develop quantifiable goals for all sales activities.
- Develop and implement successful sales programs, i.e.
displays, training, promotions, with marketing support
- Execute value proposition based selling - maintain brand
identity and sell quality and value of branded products.
- Follow industry trends and translate them to programs to
benefit the sales network.
- Effectively build and maintain relationships in several
channels, including a dealer network, large specialty retailers and
distributors.
- Secure new business by following industry trends.
- Grow sales with established customer base by developing new
programs and tracking the customer's needs
- Maintain sales goals, budgets and other quantifiable
measures.
- Manage day-to-day sales administration of all accounts
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business related discipline.
- Ten years experience in sales and/or sales related role.
- Retail, coop and distributor market knowledge a must.
- Good communication skills
- Good organization skills
- Display effective strategic thinking and tactical execution.
- Proven track record in effectively communicating company and
product messages to external audiences
- Strong negotiating skills
