2) Aug 16, 9pm to 11pm DHL Employee Job Fair
Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce
Are you looking for workers? The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is
partnering with DHL Express' human resources staff to present an "Employee
Opportunity Event," on Tuesday, August 16. The airport operations portion of
the DHL workforce will be relocating from its airport location this fall,
leaving approximately 600 employees looking for available local positions
and training opportunities.
The workforce population includes full and part time third shift package
handlers, distribution specialists with experience operating various pieces
of motorized equipment including forklifts, and those familiar import/export
processes. Accordong to HR representative Sherry Stieritz, PHR, and some DHL
employees have expressed an interest in learning about continuing education
and training opportunities, while others will be focused on finding
comparable employment.
The event will be held Tuesday evening, August 16, 9-11:30 p.m. at the DHL
site. There is no charge to participate; however, space is limited and
reservations are required.
