Behavioral Interviewing

Need to work on your script to answer Behavioral Interviewing questions?
You'll learn what behavioral interviewing is and develop your own responses
to a variety of behavioral interviewing questions.  Here's what other

Introduction to SimplyEffective

SimplyEffective is a program designed for people who are currently
unemployed and who:

a)      feel rather alone in the job search process.  They may attend
meetings, but when they get home, they lose focus, time seems to pass and
they aren't sure where the day went, or

b)      are having difficulty taking action and staying focused in locating
their next position, or

c)      have been out looking, have made progress, but are not getting
offers and feel something needs to change or be different for them to land
their next position

This program will NOT teach resume writing, interviewing skills, or other
how tos of the job search process.  It does not duplicate programs offered
like JSFG, ExecuNet, and other firms.  It will create a new outlook for
those who are unemployed, create a simplified action plan and create an
environment of team and connection with six to eight other persons.  It will
challenge you, encourage you, and help you look at the job search process in
a new way.

 

A two hour introductory workshop is being offered May 31st from 7pm - 9pm.
During this workshop you'll learn the simple three step SimplyEffective
Process that is utilized in the SimplyEffective Group Coaching Process.  For
those that choose to continue, the $49 fee for the introductory session will
be applied to the SimplyEffective Group Coaching Process. Space for the
introductory session is limited to 15 people.  In order to reserve your
space I need a registration form and payment.  No walk ins please.

focused and effective in setting and achieving their goals.

 

Mock Interviews
The next Mock interviews will be held Thurs, June 23rd from 9am -11am.  To
reap the most from this session, it is best to have attended the Behavioral
Interviewing Skills Training Session.  Bring a resume and some sample
questions you would like someone to ask you.  The biggest benefits
participants receive from this session are practice and interaction.  Call
the office or sign up at the JSFG meeting. Free to JSFG members.
