Kforce is currently seeking a Unix Administrator for our client in
Dayton, Ohio.  The UNIX Administrator will be responsible for responding
to production issues as well as maintaining and installing new HP-UX and
AIX servers. The UNIX Administrator will share administrative duties and
on-call status with one other administrator. 
Job Skills/Requirements 
Respond for hardware and software issues, including opening tickets with
vendor support personnel 
Maintain security patches on HP-UX and AIX servers 
Assist in design and installation of new server architecture 
Maintain and create administrative scripts 
Capacity Planning and Performance Monitoring 
Ensure Win32/Unix compatibility using open source tools 

Minimum Qualifications 
BS in Engineering or Scientific field (or equivalent) 
5+ years in HP-UX Administration in a production environment 
Windows 2000/Unix integration skills 
Advanced Perl and Bash scripting skills 
Extensive experience with open source tools (samba, qmail, courier-imap,
apache, jboss, openldap, mit-kerberos and mysql) 
Experience with HP-UX hardware 
Experience with RDBS and SQL; Oracle in particular 
Experience with open source security toolkits. 
HP Dataprotector a plus.
