looking for a specialist in the Production Control Department. Position
Summary: This is a supply chain management position, responsible for the
just-in-time coordination of shipments of North American supplied components
to overseas Toyota production plants in Japan, Australia and Southeast Asia.
Key responsibilities include order processing, supplier shipping
coordinationand coordination/reporting to overseas customers. Complexity:
Must be able to grasp customer order requirements, analyze supplier shipping
performance and coordinate mis-shipment recoveries. Must be able to extract
data from part ordering system and create reporting tools using MS Excel,
Access, etc. Candidates will be expected to apply general Toyota Production
System concepts of JIT, standardization, kaizen, etc. to daily job
activitiesJudgement/Decision Making Necessary: Must be able to work

gathered.This includes the ability to understand supplier short shipment
condition, shipment recovery timing and transportation required to ensure
customer production. Inside Relationships: Daily contact with overseas

Extensive daily contact with suppliers and logistics partners. Education:
Bachelors Degree in Business preferred. Will consider candidates currently
seeking bachelors w/ junior/senior status. 1-3 years supply chain management
experience Travel Expectations: Occasional travel to suppliers/logistics
