Total Quality Logistics is currently hiring entry-level sales
positions. On April 1st from 4PM - 8PM, there will be a Sales Career
Fair at our headquarters, 4289 Ferguson Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45245.
We are hiring for our Logistics Sales Management Training Program. A

Job Title: Logistics Sales Management Training Program
Description: Primary Responsibilities: Initially you will be a
Logistics Account Executive Trainee (LAET). As you learn more about
the industry, our computer tools and reach sales goals you will
advance toward the position of Logistics Account Executive (LAE).
During your development in this role you will be responsible for the
following=85 -Act as the liaison between the client, carrier, shipper
and receiver -Negotiate fair rates with both the client and the
carrier based on the type of commodity, season, distance of travel and
time and location of pick up and delivery -Manage the movement of the
client's goods, ensuring they are picked up and delivered on time to
the client's satisfaction -Build a portfolio of clients by actively
researching and seeking out prospects -Develop relationships with
these clients and strengthen your client base by providing excellent
customer service.
Tasks Performed: Assist with daily load activities to ensure that
goods are picked up and delivered on time. Locate carriers for
negotiated loads. Communicate at least twice a day with the carrier
during transport, from pick-up to delivery. Accurately enter and
maintain up-to-date information on a continuous basis in the Load
Manager Database system. Work quickly to resolve problems that may
develop on a load. Actively participate in training programs, both
classroom and on the job, readily accepting feedback and suggestions
for improvement. Generating leads and prospecting for new accounts.
Occasionally take calls during the evening and weekends, and must work
half days 3 Saturdays a month and 4 - 4 hour night shifts during the
training period.
Compensation: Start on a base salary through the training process and
progress to draw plus 100% commission.
