[jsfg_cinti] This Weeks Meeting - TUESDAY - February 20

Hello JSFG Members:
If there is one thing I am ready for beyond my next opportunity it is for 
SPRING to find its way up I 75 North.  Growing up in New England, I suppose 
I should be more tolerant to cold weather but all in all I guess Winter is 
still winter even in SW Ohio.

This week we are going to give everyone the opportunity to get "out of the 
pews" so to speak and have the opportunity to meet others in the group with 
similiar career paths.  We will spend most of the meeting in our 
"Significant Interest Groups".  For some reason, since I became President, 
we seem to over step the time for this groups to meet.  These groups can 
have value and input into the Job Search Process.  The great efforts of the 
Marketing Team are just one example of the power of these groups.

So what should I be prepared to do in my SIG:
1. Exchange information like e-mails
2. Bring a copy of your resume and obtain feedback from someone in your 
field
3. Discuss what companies in the area are of interest to you
4. Share networking contacts
5. Support each other
6. Consider meeting as a group for coffee
7. Provide input for the upcoming Job Fairs
8. Attend local professional group meetings
9. Research speakers who may be of interest to your group


To make this time more "discussion friendly",  we are going to use the 
Social Hall - right outside the sanctuary space.
We are bring in "STARBUCKS Coffee", Orange Juice and Bottled Water to "break 
the ice" !discus

We will also have a JSFG Graduate or Two share with us how JSFG made a 
difference in their Job Search Process.

Please bring your calendars, planners, palms or any other devices you use to 
the meeting.  We will also be firming up plans for the office move... We 
really need your involvement and support to get this done.  

Rick and Larry:  It would be great if we could get the Orientation Class in 
by 9:15 to participate in the SIG groups.
