Dear Ellen,
You make a very good point and Mr. Mathews may want to heed your advice when he
makes future postings to the Internet.
My observation was merely that his posting was job search related and therefore
appropriate for posting to the JSFG E-mail Mailing List per the acceptable use
policy given in the FAQ. I also had the intention of pointing subscribers to
the FAQ so that they could read about how to use the mailing list.
Have a great day!
Regards,
Lance

One thing that should be considered is that all of the
JSFG emails are searchable via the internet so
potential employers could potentially read the
JSFG emails. So I would be concerned that the
employer could think that someone else took
and/or contributed to a screening test instead
of doing it yourself.
In my opinion, if an employer gives a pre-screening
test, they want you to do it yourself. They may just
not have the staff or the time to monitor each
candidate taking the test. I'd think too, that it could
backfire in another way -- let's say you get the job
but then don't have the skills that the screening test
was measuring and have more difficulty and take
more time getting work done. You'd be stressed,
and the boss could get mad that you didn't have
the skills.

Ellen
