Thanks to everyone for their replies to my question re: a "Stressful job
situation" I think I'll go ahead and take the job if it's offered to me and,
since it's temp to perm, just see how things go. Maybe I can nose around the
place and talk to people in the cafeteria or at the water cooler and get some
ideas on how it is to work there, etc.
Another question that came up during this interview process was about my
experience as a cashier at Kroger. I worked for Kroger from May, 2002 thru
April 2007 as a cashier at night. I didn't like this job as, for one thing, it
was hard on my feet, standing for hours at a time on a concrete floor. And
that's the main reason I have left there. Well, I took the job mainly just to
have some money coming in for food, gas and rent while I looked for a REAL JOB
in my field during the day.l have not put this Kroger experience on my resume,
since it was not in my field of accounting. But one of the interviewers at
Northrop suggested that I put it on the resume, just so as to account for my
time. What's everyone think? Think it should be on the resume or not? I am
looking for an accounting/auditing position. And I have applied to Kroger in
their corporate office for those types of positions, but to no avail so far.
Thanks
Bill
