[jsfg_cinti] Tech Note: OPLIN Database Collection

Dear JSFG folks,

In addition to the Encyclopedia Brittanica, there are
a great many reference databases available to Ohio
residents and persons who have a PLCHC (Public Library
of Cincinnati and Hamilton County) library card
through the OPLIN (Ohio Public Library Information
Network). You may access a list of those resources at
the following URL:

http://www.oplin.org/main.php?Id=67

One that should be useful for the job seeker is the
Regional Business New database which is described as
follows:

"Regional Business News | (EBSCOhost)
Read articles from business news sources throughout
the country. Research regional business conditions."

This database may be access through this URL:

http://www.oplin.org/controller.php?l=ra&Id=67-22381

Enter your search terms (e.g., "cincinnati",
"cinergy", etc.) and a list of news items about the
search terms will be presented.

Good luck with your research and your job search.

Have a great day!

Regards,
Lance
