*        Career track of documented accomplishments in increasingly
complex and strategic executive leadership roles. The ideal candidate
has documented executive leadership success in
Operations/Administration, Organizational Strategy, Human Resources, or
related roles within strong people-centered organizations both inside
and outside healthcare. 
*        Direct experience and proven ability to orchestrate day to day
internal and external core operations to ensure continuous improvement
in patient/family satisfaction scores while maintaining balance with
changing healthcare economics.  Solid results-oriented experience at the
executive level of leadership should reveal the ability to lead with
confidence a fully staffed department supporting 9,500+ employees. 
*        Proven ability and acuity to assess operations, financials, and
personnel as well as competence to coordinate efforts of a willing team
of professionals. Capacity to organize and streamline operations to
achieve financial and service objectives.  Proven team building
expertise. 
 
*        Effective executive leadership skills in systems administration
and operations, human resources management, business and program
development, quality improvement, patient satisfaction, board relations,
long-term strategy and planning.
 
*        Experience representing healthcare organizations to the
community to enhance good will and positive community relations is
desired.  Evidence of civic involvement; experience in elected or
appointed leadership roles is a plus.  
 
*        Skills to develop and deliver presentations to audiences in
formal and informal settings, i.e. to staff, boards, agencies,
employers, etc.    
 
*        Working knowledge of information systems to advance optimal
automation of services and assorted metrics. 
*        Industry expertise and leadership acumen to serve as a
principal source of expert advice, consultation, and education for key

Demonstrated skill to oversee all activities associated with the human
resources function to meet the organization's mission, vision and goals
and comply with regulatory requirements.

Expertise to develop, format, and manage budgets. Must have in-depth
understanding regarding benefits funding and financial reporting.
*        Record of participation in EEO and community outreach programs
to develop diversity initiatives and positively impact the image of the

*        Career track demonstrating a solid foundation, working
knowledge and, ideally, direct experience with regulatory, legislative,
and governing bodies impacting healthcare enterprises to ensure
compliance with applicable laws.  Joint Commission experience is
desired.
*        Undergraduate degree required; MHA, MBA, other advanced degrees
a plus.  Evidence of continuing education, having or working toward
pertinent professional certifications.  Current, active involvement
within local, regional and national professional organizations desired.
