GREENE COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

SENIOR MANAGER / FINANCE

Hours of work: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday

Salary: $26.36 - $39.84/hr.

POSITION PURPOSE: Under general supervision of the Director, has general 
administrative control of, and responsibility for, all Department fiscal 
operations, to include revenue and expense control, budgeting, purchasing, 
financial reporting, debt management, and various related functions; manages 
and directs finance office personnel and provides functional guidance and 
information to various other individuals, outside of the internal finance 
staff, on fiscal related matters.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in accounting or business 
administration (with focus on finance, emphasis on governmental and 
budgetary accounting); and six (6) years of progressively responsible 
experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience 
sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as 
those listed above. CGFM (Certified Government Financial Manager) or CPFO 
(Certified Public Finance Officer) certification preferred.
