Mike, You were referred to me through LHH networking in the industry, and
I'm emailing you in the hope that you can point me in the right direction. I
have been retained to find a Manufacturing Systems Process Engineer for one
of the top electronics re-manufacturers in the U.S.
This is a new position for a growing company. This position is highly
impacting position needs someone who not only has strong manufacturing
process experience (preferably in electronics) but also someone who is a
strong project leader who wants to grow their career while making a
difference and impact in a growing, financially solid company. This person
will be developing new efficiency processes in electronics manufacturing,
leading supervisors and technicians and instituting six sigma.

We need a multi-talented engineer that will use a balance of strategic and
tactical approaches to manage and participate in new technology development
to help create a new JIT flow/six sigma environment.
What you will do:
Recommend strategy and programs to insure our client is deploying state of
the art manufacturing systems and processes.
Create systems for electronic component manufacturing
Develop project plans.
Recommend suppliers for equipment
Manage assigned Programs and Project teams
Plan and maintain all manufacturing process and Quality documentation
Overseen Manufacturing operations, production control and warehouse
operations.
Document, define, measure and improve existing manufacturing processes and
capacity.
Develop and draft project scope requirements, budgets and ultimately
specifics for capital equipment acquisitions.
Implement solid project management skills to ensure milestones and outcomes
are met on schedule and within budget, and ensures appropriate tracking and
project progress.
Recommend and manage suppliers for equipment tooling, facilities upgrades,
data transaction systems, etc.
Research, budget, develop and integrate state of the art automated
manufacturing solutions, working with other groups.
Work effectively in small teams to integrate existing manufacturing systems
and processes as appropriate.
What we need from you:
BS degree in engineering or the equivalent combination of training and
experience.
5 years related experience in electronics manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated abilities to understand and articulate the big picture, but
have strong detail orientation.
Strong communications skills, computer (Microsoft) and influencing skills.
Team builder - experience leading a team.
JIT experience. Six sigma or Toyota production experience preferred.
A go-getter, sharp, hands - on.

Location: Seattle Metro area. (20 min. from downtown Seattle)
