Job Description
Fidelity Enterprise Processing Service (EPS) provides innovative solutions

processing to Fidelity businesses in support of customer correspondence 
needs. EPS is uniquely positioned to provide integrated end-to-end 
communications linking marketing efforts to account processing. Utilization

The Senior Manager - Configuration Management/Document Control role is 
within the EPS organization which acts as a central focal point for 
overseeing Configuration Management (CM) activities for the entire product 
lifecycle. This includes (but is not limited to) item master and Bill of 
Material (BOM) set-up/structure and change control process, ensuring proper 
sign off and implementation product changes.

The individual in this role will:

â?¢ Establish and implement process and systems for managing change control, 
including: Product Specifications, Bills of Materials (BOM), Item Masters, 
Routings, order-specific special work instructions, and product releases.
â?¢ Work closely with Fidelity business partners in Marketing and Product 
Development organizations; also, must work closely with Enterprise 
Processing Services (EPS) support and operations functions, including 
Product Systems Services, Engineering, Manufacturing and Business 
Development to ensure complete and consistent CM practices.
â?¢ Lead the department in developing and implementing "best-in-class" 
configuration management and BOM change control processes to meet business 
Job Shop and high-volume businesses. This includes resolving issues between 
multiple business systems to establish one item master and primary BOM, act 
as local process champion, gather information on gaps, formulate improvement 
plans, and coordinate improvement projects within the configuration 
management key process area.
â?¢ Perform a configuration audit of existing practices and establish a CM 
Plan for the entire product line.
â?¢ Develop, track and report metrics on monthly product changes requested, 
implemented, rejected, and departmental processing times.
â?¢ Ensure the CM process effectively manages many standard and custom 
product options to be in line with the organization business model.
â?¢ Formulate changes to the current process to ensure proper revision 
control, material disposition, and communication that minimizes inventory 
loss while maintaining business partner marketing requirements.
â?¢ Develop, maintain and audit compliance of business rules, standard 
operating procedures and regulatory policies.



Qualifications
â?¢ Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering, or equivalent relevant 
experience
â?¢ Minimum of 5 years experience in Engineering field.
â?¢ Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in similar role.
â?¢ Expert knowledge of Bill of Material Systems, Item Master, Routings, 
Attributes and impact on pricing/costing and inventory accuracy.
â?¢ Experience in a similar role in Job Shop and high volume/high mix/high 
change environment.
â?¢ Experience with Lean/6-sigma to drive process improvements
â?¢ Exceptional communication skills (written/verbal).
â?¢ Exceptional interpersonal and team building skills.
â?¢ APICS Certification a plus
