      Job purpose:Support, develop and promote the use of the RMS software 
throughout the organization. Position Qualifications: Education: Required: § 
Two year college degree or technical school training with an emphasis on 
Information Systems OR 5 years of insurance experience working with data and 
database applications. Preferred: § Four -year college degree (or equivalent) 
in Computer Science or a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, 
Statistics or Quantitative Analysis. Experience: Required: § Three years 
experience working with Risklink software § Three years experience working with 
a data warehouse/ data mart. § Three-five years Property & Casualty insurance 
experience § Knowledge of COGNOS, SQL, ORACLE Discoverer and ODBC connectivity. 
§ Project management experience. Preferred: § Five years experience working 
with RMS software. § Five years experience working with a data warehouse/ data 
mart. § Seven years Property & Casualty insurance experience. § Three years 
project management experience. § Extensive of COGNOS, SQL, ORACLE Browser and 
ODBC connectivity. § Knowledge of fundamental data modeling techniques.

§ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. § Ability to handle 
multiple projects and priorities. § Ability to lead a project team. Position 
Duties and Responsibilities § Identifies and analyzes business requirements and 
data needs. § Promotes the use of RMS capabilities and data to meet business 
needs. § Develops queries, reports, ECT. to meet business needs. § 
Troubleshoots and provides user support for data issues. § Serves as technical 
expert in all areas of the analysis of catastrophe exposure using RMS modeling 
software. § Coordinates and manages software and hardware upgrades using RMS 
specifications. § Attends RMS conferences as required. § Performs special 
projects or research as required. § Leads project teams. § Creates and 
maintains data dictionaries and project documentation. § Identifies 
opportunities and implements procedures for continuous process improvements. § 
Proficient in spreadsheet, word processing and database applications 
(preferably MS Excel, MS Word and MS Access)
