"h Sustain the development and application of six sigma plus tools,
education, mentoring and internal consulting of assigned black belts as change
agents leading continuous process improvement. "h Master Black Belt will be a
change agent; influence, consult, lead efforts for sharing and standardization
of best practices and processes. Ensure BlackBelts are continuously expanding
the application of Six Sigma tools, strategies and techniques. "h Provide
technical leadership by ensuring the content and integrity of the Six Sigma
program, learning and certifications. Tool masters, black belts and Six Sigma
resources for solving advanced technical opportunities. Provide peer advice.
Develop six sigma training materials in collaboration with other MBBs. "h Lead
and support critical high value projects, assist leadership in the selection,
prioritization and launching of Six Sigma projects and teams. Facilitate teams
to achieve continuous improvement goals and train others in use of quality and
continuous improvement tools and techniques. Execute Six Sigma projects and
mentor projects with at least a cumulative $5M save per year. "h Evaluate and
recommend Black Belt projects providing opportunities to reduce COPQ, DPU,
Cycle time and other process improvement projects. "h Work with business
leaders at all levels to develop and drive continuous improvement at sites.
Continuous improvement includes incorporating the principles of Six Sigma Plus
throughout the enterprise and across all processes "h Train, mentor and coach
to Black Belts and business leaders in the use of Six Sigma Plus tools.
Facilitate one wave of black belt classes (weeks 1-4) per year including
project reviews, site visits and delivery of technical material
Requirements:
"h Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in a technical discipline. "h 5
years multi-discipline experience. "h Black Belt certification required. (If
not currently certified as a Master Black Belt, will enroll in training and be
certified within 9 to 12 months). "h Experience in delivering technical
training and the proven ability to apply Six Sigma Plus techniques and
methodologies at multiple levels. "h Demonstrated project management skills. "h
Superior written and oral communications skills. "h Strong interpersonal and
team-building skills. "h Proven ability to influence others to drive
organizational change. "h Results oriented. Strong bias for action and results.
"h Technical competence in statistics. "h Ability to utilize resources outside
span of control and work in matrixed organization. "h Proven success in finding
win/win solutions.
