Good Morning,
The September issue of the JSFG Professional Profiles is at the
printers, and will be delivered to the church during Monday's general
meeting. After the meeting we'll hold the monthly "mailing party" to get
address stickers attached, (which I will print up early Monday morning), and
delivered to the post office. I trust many of your are planning to
volunteer to help out at the mailing party. It'll only take an hour or so if
we get the needed number of volunteers.
Of course it's not too early to begin thinking about your
professional profile submission for the October issue. Maybe it's your
first profile, perhaps you want to update the profile you're currently
running, or you just want to renew the existing profile for October. Either
way, the easiest way to get it done is via the JSFG web site at www.JSFG.com
and link to the Profiles Submission section from the list on the right hand
side of the page. There you'll get the form to either enter a new profile,
or complete the name & e-mail address portion and just make a note in the
profile section that you want to renew the existing profile. A more
cumbersome way is to e-mail me at profileschair@xxxxxxxx at advise me of
what you want. Postal mail and paper submissions will be accepted, and I'll
do my best to get them processed correctly, but knowing the postal system
and anything requiring manual transcription of data, you're taking somewhat
of a chance on its being lost or screwed up by yours truly. I'd suggest
sticking with the web site :)
Submissions can be accepted through Monday, Sept. 13th, which gives me
a week to process them all and get the proofs to the printer by the 27th.
As usual I appreciate your submission as early as possible, and can't
guarantee inclusion of submissions after the 13th. That's especially true
with paper submissions, that I must pick up from the JSFG office by the 13th
to have a chance. This is a valuable job search tool offered by J.S.F.G.
and is strongly recommended by all who have received requests for more
information from potential employers.
Happy Job Hunting and I'll see you on Monday.
