[jsfg_cinti] Senior Network Engineer - columbus

Successful candidate will possess experience with a network that
consists of at least 30 servers and at least 1000 users with at least
5 geographically diverse locations connected to a wide area network
(WAN).  Position is located in Columbus, OH.

Determine requirements for a large-scale wide area network environment
wide area networks.  Design and document LAN/WAN solutions and
document network configurations.  Assist in the development of network
standards.  Assist Network Operations Center (NOC) personnel in
troubleshooting network problems.  Assist with project management
responsibilities including planning and execution of projects. 
Research technological solutions for network connectivity,
client-server application support, multi-platform integration, and
other Client MIS data processing and telecommunications-related
projects.  Work with on-site personnel to resolve configuration
problems both on site and at remote locations.  Review site evaluation
reports to ensure technical viability.  Submit weekly status report to
Client.

Mandatory Requirements:
5 years experience maintaining infrastructure equipment in a
large-scale wide area network environment
5 years troubleshooting and maintaining TCP/IP networks
5 years experience with high speed telecommunications circuits
4 years experience integrating client-server applications in
multi-protocol environments in a large-scale wide area network environment
5 years experience installing, maintaining and configuring Cisco
switch products
4 years design and installation experience using TCP/IP in al
large-scale wide area network environment
5 years experience configuring and installing CISCO routers in a
large-scale wide area network environment
4 years experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting WAN
netowkrs using Network Address Translation (NAT) on Cisco products
2 years experience working with VLANS

Requirements:
5 years installing servers in a large-scale wide area network environment
4 years experience monitoring and updating Hewlett Packard's Openview
- Network Node Manager software (or equivalent tool) in support of a
network with at least 250 devices
2 years experience with Unix operating systems
5 years experience working with firewalls
2 years experience using project management tools such as Microsoft
Project
Current MCSE certification
Novell Certified Network Engineer (CNE) 4.x or higher
Current Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification or higher
