    The Director, Brand Management will provide leadership and responsibility 
for the development, commercialization and stewardship of the core base 
businesses including the brand. This business leader will focus on driving 
contribution to profit of the brand portfolio, creating product line extensions 
and 
strengthening the brand positioning and architecture through relevant news and 
improved differentiation. He/she will create cost of sales efficiencies through 
the scrutiny of advertising, promotion, and trade throughout the sales year 
and will identify and communicate new markets, new categories and channel 
opportunities. The remit will also involve leading a cross-functional business 
team 
responsible for strategic and operational plan input and execution oversight. 


The ideal candidate will be a strategic-minded, analytical, and 
classically-trained marketer with a track record for successfully accelerating 
the 
performance of a high profile growth brand franchise or, at a minimum, a 
business with 
a complex portfolio of product lines. This creative, entrepreneurial, and 
team-oriented individual must be comfortable building strong relationships 
across 
all functions within an organization and among global, cross-organizational 
teams. He/she must be highly intelligent, resourceful, and aggressive in 
his/her approach to building a business, and should be able to stimulate 
his/her 
peers with innovative and clearly laid-out ideas. This individual must also
