My name is Gina Horstmeier and I am a recruiter for PDS Technical Services
in St. Louis.   PDS is a professional personnel service compensated by our

We currently have a job opportunity for a Technical Support Associate in
Indianapolis, IN..  The duration of this position is an ongoing contract
position. 

 

The actual title of this position is Desktop Support. Job Duties:
NT/Windows2000/XP administration including imaging of desktop personal
computers, laptops, and docking stations, troubleshooting, installation and
support of NT/Windows2000/XP, Office97/Office2000/Office2002,
Outlook/Exchange, Lotus Notes, SAP, Norton Antivirus, Visio, Exceed, Oracle
Client, etc. 

 

Education Desired: B.S. CIT or CIS. Special Requirements: A+ certification
and MCP. Experience: 2 years or more. Knowledge Desired: Troubleshooting
NT/Windows 2000/XP and Microsoft Office products. Demonstrated ability to
utilize technical equipment to keep up with changing technologies.
Demonstrated abilities to provide reliable and courteous customer service.
Demonstrated ability to perform migrations to new operating systems. Working
knowledge of various types of personal computers and laptops/docking
stations. Must be knowledgeable in installations, troubleshooting and
technical support of Microsoft software. Must possess good verbal and
written communication skill as well as organizational skills. Must be able
to use and apply technical standards and techniques.
