Following is information on an immediate opportunity for a Safety, Health, & 
Plant Protection Manager in Southwest Indiana (Evansville)
Salary range - mid to upper 90's

This position has the responsibility to manage, maintain and continually 
improve the Health, Safety and Loss Prevention & Protection of the facility 
with the objective of reducing injuries and unplanned occurrences while 
promoting responsible use of resources as well as ensuring compliance with 
federal, state, local and company requirements. Candidate will provide 
leadership and direction in all areas of risk management, loss control, 
regulatory compliance, budgetary forecasting, behavioral safety, achieving 
OHSAS 18001, workers compensation and medical management including strategic 
planning to achieve zero injury mentality. 

 Provide direction and mentoring to various joint safety and health committees 
to ensure value-added work and measurable deliverables. 

Candidate is required to have a Bachelor's degree in EHS related fields with a 
minimum of 10 years of EHS management experience in a manufacturing 
environment. Experience in a union setting is preferred. M.S degree in 
Occupational Health & Safety is preferred. Must have a broad knowledge of 
local, state and federal programs and regulations relating to Safety and Health 
issues. Must have in depth knowledge of safety and health management systems as 
applied across relevant industries. Exceptional written and verbal 
communication skills as well as demonstrated ability to utilize various 
software is a must.
