I am currently seeking a SQL DBA for a 3rd shift temp-to-perm position

Assist in the planning and deployment of new applications and 
enhancements to existing applications.
Deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, 
software, services, and database objects.
Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems 
and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
Perform server and security audits, backup procedures, and other 
recovery processes in accordance with the company's security, disaster 
recovery, and business continuity strategies.
Create system design diagrams and charts to provide information to 
operations and development teams.
Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, 
mapping, processes, and interrelation.
Conduct research on software products to justify recommendations and to 
support purchasing efforts.
Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system 
performance statistics and reports.

* College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, 
information science, management information systems, or business 
administration and/or 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
* Working technical knowledge of IIS, Client/Server, Web, and Microsoft 
SQL database environments
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Strong technical documentation skills.
* Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
* Dedicated focus on customer satisfaction
* Adept at applying troubleshooting and problem solving techniques to 
software related issues
* Proficient in performing SQL queries and interpreting relational 
database design
* Ability to work independently as well as thrive in a team oriented 
environment
* Ability to prioritize and remain focused in a dynamic, fast paced 
environment
* Ability to multi-task and resolve issues in a timely manner
* Experience supporting third party applications desired

* Third Shift (10 p.m. to 7 a.m.) or alternate schedule approved by 
supervisor.
* On-call availability.
* Sitting for extended periods of time.
* Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, 
power tools, and to handle other computer components.
* Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as 
computers and peripherals.
