[jsfg_cinti] Reminder: Resume Review Fair tomorrow!

Don't forget to bring your resume if you want a personal review/critique
by an HR professional.
 
!! Meeting will be in the Little Theatre on the 2nd floor, and will be
9:00 am to 12:30 pm !!
 
Start your day at the Little Theatre.  B.H. Kroger (our JSFG treasurer)
will be passing out numbers for resume reviews as folks arrive for the
membership meeting up until 10:00 am or we've given out all the
available numbers, whichever comes first.  During the general membership
meeting, we'll be calling groups of numbers to wait in a short line for
the next available reviewer. You will meet with a HR professional and/or
career counseler who will review/critique your resume and offer you
suggestions to improve your resumes effectiveness.  An average review
discussion would be about 20 minutes.  When your resume has been
reviewed, before you return to the Little Theatre, please tell the next
person in the waiting line what Review Station you were at so they know
which reviewer is now available.  Each Review Station will have a sign
with a letter - A, B, etc.  
 
Membership meeting presentations and networking:
 
 -  "Researching Companies".  Learn how to research companies so that
your interview stands out from the crowd of other candidates , and to
assess the companies' stability and outlook.   Les Sper will teach us
the whys & hows of researching companies. 
 
-  Networking activity led by Dan Amann, career consultant at ProMark.
Dan Amann is the Past President of the Greater Cincinnati HR Assoc, the
Northern Kentucky HR Assoc and more importantly past Presdient of JSFG.
Dan is a career consultant with Promark where he teaches Job Search
seminars as well as assist individuals. Dan got the position at Promark
via networking. 

 -  "Personal Financial Planning" presented by Bruce Kohls, regional
consultant for Fidelity Investments. Bruce has a Bachelor?s degree in
Finance and Economics, 13 years experience in the financial industry,
and is a licensed stockbroker and Registered Investment Advisor.
