Dear Members:
**********************************************
*** IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ THIS
**********************************************
***
*** The JSFG-ITSIG Java Training Group will hold
*** its next meeting on Saturday, January 15, 2005
*** from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. in room 217
*** of the HPCUMC Church (1345 Grace Av.)
***
*** We plan to continue our discussion of Servlet
*** and JavaServer Pages technology. Our emphasis
*** will be on the nuts and bolts of building an
*** application. We will use the NetBeans 4.1 EA1
*** Java IDE to create various simple applications
***
*** This Saturday we will focus on resolving the problems
*** some of us have had in using NetBeans. This may
*** require uninstalling and reinstalling all of the NetBeans
*** associated software. I anticipate a lot of time spent
*** troubleshooting our computer systems. I regret that
*** we will have to use out time that way, but I believe
*** that we must do so in order to continue our studies.
***
*** Please bring your laptop computer to this
*** meeting (if you have one) so that we can gain
*** experience in the use of the NetBeans IDE
*** and in the writing of Java programs.

You are welcome to join the group at any time during the
session. Feel free to join us even if you cannot arrive promptly
at 10:00 A.M. or stay for the entire session. It is entirely
acceptable to drop in for just an hour or two at any time.
If you are interested in learning Java and becoming Java
certified, but have not been able to attend our meetings
regularly, feel free to attend and we will discuss ways that
you can jump-start your learning process. All it takes is
the motivation to read the Java book and practice what
you learn.
If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail me and I will
try to help you.
Have a great day!
Regards,
Lance Feldman
