      Description:   
      A worldwide leading designer and maker of motion control devices and 
precision, sub-fractional horsepower motors is seeking a Regional Sales Manager 
to oversee approximately 18 (independent) Manufacturing Representatives. A 
candidate with a technical background and an understanding of motor technology 
is preferred (but not necessary) and will have the provable qualifications of 
managing and controlling activities of independent reps. The successful manager 
MUST have at least 3 to 5 sales years experience and a degree (preferably in 
Engineering), but a Marketing and Bus. Admin degree is also acceptable. This 
person would need to be local to Dayton, OH or within 60 miles of Dayton. 
Primary Responsibilities: Manage and control all activities in assigned areas 
including inquiries from customers and field sales giving application 
engineering assistance, price and delivery information, follow-up information 
on open orders, quotations and general follow-up field visits. Develop and 
maintain key customer planning and provide strategy to obtain best possible 
results. Develop new applications by providing interface between customers and 
engineering. Visit customers, maintain good relationships and develop new 
business. The Regional Sales Manager MUST be an "A" player who has consistently 
exceeded sales plans and be able to document these achievements. The successful 
candidate MUST have a BS degree in Business, Marketing or Technical Field, a 
minimum 3 to 5 years direct sales experience selling to OEM's. Must have a 
working knowledge of the products, sales techniques, forecasting, costing 
procedures and application engineering. This position requires 50% travel. 
Compensation base is in the $65K range plus bonus (up to 25%). An excellent 
benefits packaging is offered.
