      Description:   
      Location may not be the same as corporate HQ. Provides executive 
leadership within a geographic area that directs and monitors the business 
strategy and focus with respect to development, finance, sales, operations and 
all other strategic business focuses in order to ensure the region meets all 
profitability & growth targets in accordance with company's business 
objectives. Key Functions: Develops, implements and monitors strategies, 
policies, and procedures related to all business functions such as sales, 
finance, operations, warehousing in a manner that best meets the objectives of 
the organization. Directs and monitors regional sales function on developing 
marketing strategies to ensure all sales and profitability targets are met, and 
that a continual pipeline of potential customers is developed. Directs and 
monitors regional financial resources to ensure favorable financial results 
that achieve all budgetary requirements in terms of ROCC, credit and 
profitability models in addition to strong expense control that meet the 
company's commitment to the marketplace. Works closely with Director of 
Operations to implement programs, policies and procedures that will improve the 
overall effectiveness and efficiency of the distribution operation leading to a 
faster turnover of inventory, better product control, reduced morgue 
values/damaged/out of date product, and increased customer service and 
satisfaction. Actively engaged in the recruitment, development and retention of 
all direct reports, with a focus on diversity and mentoring, in order to ensure 
a pool of talent continues to be available for all opportunities. Directs and 
works closely with information technology group to establish, implement, review 
and monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of technology to strength and 
upgrade business capabilities and support customer requirements. Reviews, 
establishes, implements and directs specific initiatives that strength and 
upgrade the region's business capabilities. Develops and directs a team 
approach that empowers all direct reports and region personnel to foster an 
entrepreneurial focus. Embraces, implements and directs a focus on the 
organizations core management philosophy and core competencies. Conducts 
regular staff meetings with all direct reports to maintain open and effective 
communication across business functions and foster a working relationship that 
maintains a professional business focus and raises esprit de corps within the 
region. Interacts with multiple levels of high profile corporate and field 
professionals in a manner that allows the organization to react swiftly to all 
customer and market demand changes. Conducts quarterly business review meetings 
with Group level team identifying achievement to goals, and development of new 
business opportunities. Performs other leadership and strategic initiatives as 
assigned. 
      Requirements:   
      Bachelor's degree in a business discipline, with an MBA strongly 
preferred. Strong financial background with a significant background in total 
P&L control. Minimum of 5-10 years of diversified general management experience 
with full P&L accountability, with previous experience in sales distribution or 
operations. Prior experience in pharmaceutical or related health care field 
preferred. History of successful track record in a management discipline such 
as sales, operations or finance indicating a sound business decision making 
capability. Must be multi-dimensional and multi-directional with the ability to 
see the micro detail and at the same time, understand how the information 
interrelates to the macro or "big picture" view, and have the ability to change 
perspectives at will. Strong financial acumen, with detailed knowledge of 
profit and loss and the ability to respond to unique and unexpected market 
challenges. Well-developed problem solving capabilities. Excellent verbal, 
written, and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop strong 
relationships with customers, peers, subordinates, and a general employee 
population. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in an 
entrepreneurial, unstructured environment. Successful track record of team 
building and talent development. Proficient in general office environment
