A lot of questions on Excel ... if the problem requires < 4 million formulas,
its not a challenge. I have written Excel work books that require 6 worksheets
using all 256 columns. For example, "Vlookup" -if the table is less than 100
entries, use it. Otherwise, create a index formula that will take you right to
the data cell. If I would use "Vlookup" to access data on a large workbook, it
would take hours to retrieve anything. Another point -- always use check
points. I have few errors in Excel because I check point totals two or three
