I volunteered in the JSFG office 2 weeks ago as a new worker. The scheduled
experienced worker was apparently unable to come, so I had no one to ask about
this situation.
While working, I filed into the job binders a couple job openings that came in
by mail, as opposed to by e-mail. I wondered if there was a way that someone
could send a brief descriptions by e-mail at least once a week. Perhaps this
is already being done?
This is the first time I am using this bulletin board. If I had experience
with it already and understood how to use the office computers, I would have
gone ahead and sent the notices out that day. I kept thinking that there might
be someone just like me who really needs a job, and might be interested in one
of these.
Also, we all need to start using this listserve a whole lot more! I'd rather
be swamped with e-mail about jobs that might be of interest to me rather than
miss one that might tell me about just the perfect place to network or job
opening. What do you think? Use this listserve and tell me.

I'm with you Linda...this is the most inactive listserv I've ever been
on.
As for the job posting...when in doubt, do it yourself...just type up
the relevant info and post it to the list as you are doing now. If
there's something wrong with what you did, I am sure an officer will
contact you, otherwise, you can be assured you did it right.
