      Description:   
      Quality Assurance Technician for our client in Southwest Central Indiana 
that is commutable from Indianapolis. This is a position for a Layout/CMM 
operator. Basic function is the execution and maintenance of dimensional 
layouts and other duties as assigned. Ability to set up and inspect automotive 
components and assemblies in a timely manner. Maintain inspection records on 
file. Must have thorough understanding of geometric dimension and tolerancing 
(GD&T) Must be able to operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) using 
software programs such as USoft, Calypso, and CAD. Perform gage calibration. 
Ability to use all types of gages and fixtures for inspection as required. 
Provide backup support for incoming audits as available and/or requested. 
Technical associates degree in engineering, engineering science (MET, EET, 
etc.) or equivalent.  
      Requirements:   
      Technical associates degree in engineering, engineering science, MET, 
EET, or equivalent. Three to five years of related experience ASQ certification 
preferred.
