Cincinnati, Ohio, looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong
background in Mechanical Engineering to develop market-leading products. For
20 years, ITE has worked with clients in the consumer, medical, and
industrial industries to improve their product development processes,

engineer and design products for efficient manufacturing and help shorten
development cycles.

The Project Manager works as a senior engineer on client projects, while
managing the project and directing the efforts of junior engineers.  The
Project Manager is responsible for proposal writing, ensuring project
profitability and design checking.

We require the following skills and experience:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and at least 8 years of related experience in
consumer products, medical products, machine design and/or industrial
products.

Project Management experience, including the ability to work independently
while effectively coordinating work with team members, excellent
organizational, interpersonal and strategic planning skills, and the ability
to develop and maintain strong customer relationships. A passion to
positively impact company sales and profitability is required.

Product Development experience, including familiarity with manufacturing
process and material selection.

Engineering expertise in concept development, drafting, GD&T and tolerance
analysis. Experience with static mechanical calculations, hands-on bench
work, dynamic mechanism calculations and mechanism design is helpful.
Regulations experience (FDA, UL) and creative expertise in plastic injection
and extrusion part design is a plus. Sheet metal part design, metal cast and
die-cast part design are useful.

Experience in Solid Works, Pro/E Wildfire, UG NX and/or Solid Edge 3D design
software. Modeling ability including assemblies, drawings and surfacing
helpful.

Our ideal candidate will also possess:
Adaptability to changing project requirements and schedules.
Understanding of FEA analysis (COSMOS, Mechanica) is preferred.
Knowledge of electronic packaging is requested, but not required.
