      Description:   
      Manage and participate in the creation of Enterprise Data Warehouse and 
Business Intelligence projects that support Marketing/Customer Relationship 
Management (CRM), Merchandising, Finance and Supply Chain for a major 
retailer/distributor in the Columbus Ohio area. The job involves working with 
various user groups to define their system requirements and managing Business 
Intelligence projects from conceptualization to completion. The ideal candidate 
should have proven experience as a technical project manager in the areas of 
CRM and Data Warehousing in addition to an aptitude to interact with 
cross-functional business communities. Be a key player in helping to implement 
and enterprise our CRM and Business Intelligence vision · Contribute 
significantly in strategy creation process and executing the roadmap in the 
areas of Customer Analysis/Customer Loyalty, CRM, Data Warehousing and Business 
Intelligence processes. · Work with user communities and business analysts to 
develop project and system requirements and helping facilitate getting projects 
approved with senior management · Assist in writing technical specifications 
that will be the blueprint for application development and implementation 
efforts. · Work with third-party vendors/consultants and oversee/participate in 
tool evaluations and selection processes. · Assist in establishing 
prioritization and scope of multiple business intelligence projects  
      Requirements:   
      Conduct technical reviews and walkthroughs of system design documentation 
with development and design team members Will be responsible for 4-10 staff 
members on a variety of medium to large sized development projects The ideal 
candidate must have excellent management, communications and interpersonal 
skills Strong analytical and design skills, project management, and 
relationship management skills Ability to work in a team environment 4 year 
college degree with a BA BS in MIS or Business Administration (Masters degree a 
plus) Must be a senior level individual with proven capacity to move into 
higher levels of responsibility in the Business Intelligence area. 
Marketing/CRM, Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence experience is highly 
preferred Must have 5- 8 years of proven experience as a technical project 
manager Retail Experience preferred; Retail Point of Sale systems experience a 
plus Demonstrated experience leading a cross-functional project thru entire 
development life cycle Experience working with iterative software development 
methodologies
