[jsfg_cinti] Professional Profiles Reminder

Members,
This is a reminder from your Profiles Guy that we're into
taking submissions for the November edition of J.S.F.G. Professional
Profiles, which will be compiled, printed, and mailed out on Monday,
November 1st. There's an extra week in this publication schedule, which
allows us to accept submission up through October 18th. I need manual
submissions, (postal mail or hand delivered paper copies) by the time we
leave the meeting on the 18th. On-line or e-mail submissions by the end of
the day. That leaves me a week to compile, edit, and format them into the
master copy to take to the printer on Monday the 25th. The 25th is the last
day to make the $10 payment for November also. To volunteer to help out
with the monthly mailing party, please plan to get with Howard Binzer
immediately after the meeting on November 1st, by the long table that will
be set up along the left hand wall of the refectory after the meeting. Your
help for about an hour is a critical part of getting our professional
profiles in front of those 900+ potential employers.
Another reminder; if you want us to simply renew your most
recent professional profile, all it takes is e-mail notice to me, or payment
of the $10 charge. I need to ask you to advise me, (because I usually don't
remember to ask), if payment is to be for a new submission or a renewal.
When I get a note to that effect, it let's me know ahead of time and
prevents me having to wait until the last minute for submissions that aren't
going to be forthcoming. That's just a personal favor request.

Also a reminder that I'm going to be holding a short session
on profiles and how to submit them after the general meeting on Oct. 4th.
I'll go over how to create an effective profile, how to complete the on-line
submission, the timing of the process, and be available to answer any other
questions you have about this highly effective job search tool provided by
J.S.F.G.

See you all on Monday,

Dave E.
