JOB DESCRIPTION:

IMMEDIATE NEED! A leading international industrial capital equipment
supplier is looking for a Procurement Specialist Support for a
temporary assignment. Must have a Bachelor?s degree in Supply Chain
Management or a related field and 5 years of purchasing experience in
industrial capital equipment sector or equivalent. The ideal candidate
MUST be able to Develop and implement processes to measure, monitor,
and manage supplier performance; Issue RFQs, RFPs, identify, qualify,
negotiate and purchase from leading international suppliers/vendors;
Act in a contributive liaison between enterprise and vendors to
facilitate the procurement and deployment of necessary equipment and
services based on budget and project target dates; and Assists senior
management with strategic procurement planning to ensure that
enterprise business goals and imperatives are met. Project planning
and management skills, strong oral and written communication skills
and interpersonal skills to include report/proposal preparation and
presentations to all levels of management and external contacts are
Required. This is a great opportunity to work with a well established,
growing company. This is a 3 month Contract position with per diem
