New Logo Contest - Sharonville Chamber Seeks Your Design!

Sharonville, Ohio: "We are thrilled to announce an open contest for the
design of a new logo to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of the new and
improved Sharonville Chamber of Commerce," reveals Chamber Marketing
Director Bob Pautke. "This contest seeks designs from local schools, art
academies, and design professionals to compete in creating a vibrant new
logo that compliments our new image."

One year ago the Chamber transitioned from an all volunteer to a
professionally lead organization. "Since then," says Chamber President Rich
Arnold, "we have launched what members tell us are a highly-effective
Professional Development Series, monthly business luncheons, active and
friendly after-hours networking events, and the launch of the Northern
Cincinnati Economic Roundtable." A full Calendar of Events can be found at

Logo Contest Rules:

   Competition is open to all including professional and aspiring image
designers. The contest begins immediately.

   Design requirements (must meet all requirements):

     - Use the full color spectrum ranging from one color to process four
color
     - Prefer digital format - i.e. Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign,
etc.)
     -Must be able to maintain its integrity when reproduced in simple black
& white, suitable for       newspaper printing
     - If designing as a one or two color logo, one of the colors needs to
be blue
     - Please submit in both color and black & white

   Design must represent the Chamber mission and vision of "...expert
connections"

"The Sharonville Chamber of Commerce connects businesses with the people,
resources and ideas they need to help their businesses prosper.  We strive
to make member businesses more profitable by lowering costs, growing
revenues, and providing education to increase business knowledge."

At time of design submission all rights to each submitted design will belong
solely to the Sharonville Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber grants permission
for submitted designs to be included in portfolios with acknowledgement that
all rights have been granted to the Sharonville Chamber of Commerce, and
that design may not be used without express written permission from the
Chamber.

Deadline for design submissions is 5:00pm Friday Nov 21st to the Chamber

A diversity of judges comprised of business members of the Chamber and local
design professionals will review every submission and vote on the winning
design.

Each contestant will receive a positive response following the voting
advising them if their design has been or has not been selected.

The selected design and designer will be announced and showcased at the
Sharonville Chamber's January 29, 2009 Annual Meeting.

Why submit a design?
The winning design will be featured on all Chamber online and print
materials ? a great portfolio builder, plus:
    Chamber testimonials and promotion (news releases, event promos, etc.)
    Crystal Award presented during the Annual Meeting
    Featured article and photos in the ChamberLine magazine (distribution
over 7,000!)
    ICRC-TV interview
    $250 cash award
