[jsfg_cinti] Possible Job Opportunity

Dear JSFG Friends,

For several weeks I have been working with a very talented individual on 
what could almost be called a "start up" business.  The compensation would 
be COMMISSION ONLY.

The subject of the business is generational issues.  You all have heard of 
"baby boomers", "generation X", etc.  The topic is fascinating and he has 
some great information and insights into the subject.  On top of it he is 
truly a great guy.

The potential is in human resources and marketing. The "products" are 
lectures, seminars and research.

With a major local advertising agency as the new partner, a first class 
website will be activated in the first quarter of 2004 and very professional 
brochures, etc. will be available.

Yes, "cold calls" are involved but they are very professional and low key.  
The objective is to get someone to speak with the consultant.  As exposure 
to the public increases, I BELIEVE most of the calls will be following up on 
leads from lectures and seminars.

I don't want to oversell the opportunity, but of the dozens of "commission 
only" positions I checked, this was the best.

Much to my personal surprise, I have just received a salaried offer from 
another company.  So I wont be working on this.  To be blunt, if I had found 
this at the beginning of my separation period (while still receiving a 
salary) I probably would not have been looking for something else.
